The STAT-B pickup system is a double bass transducer specially developed for use in louder musical environments, and is highly resistant to feedback, the bridge-mounted STAT microphone is an ideal choice for jazz, fusion, rock or classical performances involving high levels of amplification. The heart of the transducer capsule is made of cork, which can be shaped with sandpaper to fit the cutaways in the bridge of the instrument. The signal is transmitted by means of an RCA connector secured to the bridge by means of a special clip. STAT is designed to accurately reproduce the warm sound of the instrument strings during performance, giving depth and body to the lower ones while reproducing the clarity and brightness of the upper ones. STAT pickups are available individually, or packaged with a choice of preamps that give the player flexibility and control over a range of sound parameters.The STAT B for double bass has no accessories included. This pickup requires a 10V supply and is therefore recommended for use with Schertler amps and preamps. STAT B SET combines the STAT B pickup for double bass with the battery-powered STAT PRE preamplifier. The package includes a connection cable and padded bag. STAT B PRO combines the STAT B pickup for double bass with the YELLOW SINGLE, a sophisticated, portable Class-A preamplifier. The package includes a connection cable and padded bag. STAT B ROAD combines the STAT B pickup for double bass with the YELLOW BLENDER, a versatile, portable, 2-channel Class-A preamplifier. The package includes a connection cable and padded bag. The STAT B VINTAGE for double bass has no accessories included. This pickup with two capsules requires a 10V supply and is therefore recommended for use with Schertler amps and preamps.
