The BASiK is a universal general purpose contact microphone ideal for stringed, percussive or ethnic instruments. It can be applied with a special adhesive putty and moved between instruments for extra flexibility.
BASiK is available in four different packages for maximum flexibility, enabling it to be used in any live performance or recording situation.
The BASiK package only includes the pickup. To make it work, a SCHERTLER amp, preamp or 10V adapter is also required.
The BASiK SET package includes the microphone and a power supply adapter box with a 1.5V AA battery. This enables BASiK to be directly connected to any amplifier. The package also includes a padded bag and special adhesive putty.
The BASiK PRO package includes the microphone and a 48V adapter. This enables BASiK to be directly connected to a mixing console with phantom power activated. The package also includes a padded bag and special adhesive putty.
The BASiK ROAD package includes the microphone and two adapters: a power supply adapter box with a 1.5V AA battery and a 48V phantom power adapter. The package also includes a padded bag and special adhesive putt.
