The Vmic5 Pro is a super-cardioid on-camera condenser shotgun microphone. Its super-cardioid pickup pattern focuses on the sounds in front while still offering a high level of rear rejection. It is ideal for DSLR, mirror-less and video cameras.The Vmic5 Pro features an output level control (-10 dB, 0 dB, +20 dB), a selectable 75 Hz or 150 Hz high-pass filter and a high frequency boost (+5 db) to increase dialogue intelligibility. The 2-Stage High-Pass Filter is designed to cut out the noise generated by air conditioning, traffic, and other low-frequency interference. The 3-position level gain control allows changing the microphone sensitivity ti suit different recording environments. A custom designed shock mount system provides isolation from vibration and mechanical noise. The Vmic5 Pro also features an automatic power on/off function that turns the microphone off when unplugged from the camera. All the settings are saved even when the power is switched off. The built-in battery has a capacity of 2000 mAh for over 120 hours of recording. This can be recharged via USB-C (DC 5V/1A). The detachable 3.5 mm cable connects the Vmic5 Pro to the camera audio input while the headphone output allows monitoring of the incoming audio. Includes foam windshield, fur windscreen, USB-C charging cable and 3.5 mm TRS to TRS audio output cable for the camera.
