The CU-51 is a dual capsule cardioid condenser microphone. It is ideal for vocals and acoustic instruments. The dual capsule offers the advantage of maintaining a balanced response both on-axis and off-axis with no coloration and a full frequency response at 90 degrees. They also exhibit very low proximity effect while delivering a larger than life sound. One of the diaphragm is optimised for low frequencies and the other for high frequencies while maintaining phase accuracy. The membranes are made of PPS (Polyphenylene Sulphide Plastic) and thus immune to temperature and humidity changes. Includes vinyl case.
