CU-32

Common name: Sanken CU-32

Production Status: In production

The CU-32 is a side-fire (90 degrees) small diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone. The capsule features a 1-micron titanium diaphragm, immune to corrosion, and changes in temperature and humidity. It has an excellent transient response and is ideal for full orchestras, solo acoustic instruments, percussion, cymbals and woodwinds. It employs Sanken’s original Push-Pull capsule design with 6 dB more sensitivity than conventional microphones of the same size. The CU-32 can handle 140 dB SPL with 1% THD with a flat frequency response between 20 Hz and 18 kHz. Thanks to its small size it is also ideal for TV broadcast applications. Includes vinyl case and microphone holder. This model is not available in China and in the EU.
