Common name: Sanken CS-3e

Production Status: In production

The CS3e is a short mono shotgun microphone featuring three directional capsules are arranged in a front-back array to combine line microphone performance and second-order pressure gradient response in a single system. It maintains a sharp directivity over a wide frequency range and especially in the low frequencies and exceptional off-axis rejection. This makes the CS3e ideal for use in difficult locations such as close to ceilings or near noisy cameras. The microphone also exhibits very little proximity effect for close-up pickup applications. Includes vinyl case and individual frequency chart.
