COS-22

Common name: Sanken COS-22

Production Status: In production

The COS-22 is a dual capsule, dual channel omnidirectional lavalier microphone. The second capsule can be used as a noise cancellation directional microphone pair by reversing the phase of one channel before summing the two outputs or for AB stereo setups or as a spare backup capsule. The two capsules are matched within less than one dB. The microphone is extremely small and features a full frequency response up to 20 kHz. It is ideal for a variety of applications, including unobtrusive area miking, stereo recording of music and environmental ambience, redundant capsule in live broadcast and boundary-style miking for film and television.
