The COS-11X is an ultra-miniature personal microphone that introduces for the first time a water resistant front mesh that protect the capsule from perspiration and cosmetics. The COS-11x is designed to meet HD audio standards while satisfying the concealment requirements of film, video and theatre. The vertically oriented diaphragm of the original COS-11 design, which gives a relatively large effective area, is used. The suffix BP version can be used with a 1.5 V battery or 12-52 V phantom. It draws 0.8 mA, has an output Z of 200 ohms, and has a sensitivity of 6mV/Pa and Max SPL of 120 dB. The suffix PT version is for wireless use and needs 3-10V <0.3 mA (on the black lead). Output Z is 700 ohms and preferred load is >10k. Sensitivity is 8.9 mV and Max SPL 123dB (3,2mV and 13dB for Red marked variant).
