The CO-100K is an omnidirectional condenser microphone designed in association with the NHK Science & Technical Research Laboratories. It is well suited for classical music, string ensembles, acoustic instruments, foley and sound effects recording. It is also excellent in four and five channel arrays for surround and front of orchestra. The microphone has an extended 20 Hz to 100 kHz frequency response for high sample rates recording. It has a high frequency boost that starts at 16 kHz with a 20 dB peak above 50kHz to 70 kHz to allow far-field recording without any loss of high frequency detail and attenuates high frequency energy approaching 100 kHz. Includes vinyl case and individual frequency response.
