The Stereo VideoMic is a camera-top stereo microphone. It has an integral hot-shoe mount. The capsules are 45° crossed supercardioid electrets. The body is cast aluminium mounted on an elastic shock mount. The microphone is self-powered by an internally fitted 9V battery and has a rear-mounted indicator and function switches. Battery life is ~60hrs. The output is unbalanced. The Stereo VideoMic is equipped with a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad and 80 Hz low-cut filter. It is ideal for ambient, environmental and live music recording.
