The M5 is a compact small diaphragm condenser microphone using a 0.5 permanently polarized capsule. It has a JFET impedance converter and a (balanced) bipolar transistor output. Stereo pair sensitivity is matched to 1dB. It can deal with exceptionally high SPLs (140dBSPL) giving output levels as high as 13.5dBu. It is ideal for acoustic instruments and vocal ensembles recording and sound reinforcement applications. Includes RM microphone clips and WS5 windshields. It is sold in matched pairs.
