The CD is a cardioid dynamic goose-neck microphone for speech and music applications suc. it comes with a removable perspex baffle that provides a 3 dB boost of frequencies between 150 Hz and 8 kHz for speech pick up. The microphone is made of diecast metal with no screws employed in the assembling and all parts apart from the diaphragm are replaceable. It was available in low (L), mdium (M) and high (H) impedance versions.
