SK-50
Common name: RCA SK-50
Production Status: Discontinued / Vintage
The RCA SK-50 is a varacoustic ribbon microphone for public address amateur radio, and sound reinforcement applications. Polar pattern response can be changed between omnidirectional (P), cardioid (U) and bidirectional (V) plus two intermediate positions by moving a slider located on the back of the microphone. It is an updated version of the MI-6203/4. Impedance can be changed between 30, 150 and 250 Ohm by re-soldering the connection at the terminal board inside the microphone. It has an unterminated 25-foot two-conductor shielded cable.
