The CMU-503 is cardioid condenser microphone. The circuit uses a selected FETan a high voltage generator to achieve a very low self-noise and high SPL capability. The CMU-503 is ideal for studio, broadcast and high quality P.A. applications. The microphone is powered by a 9V battery but can also accept 48V phantom power. It is also equipped with an on/off switch and a low-cut filter. Thanks to the circuit layout these are silent in operation. Includes 6 metre XLR cable, carrying case, battery, windscreen, power supply and stand adapter.
