The R-14 is a bidirectional ribbon-velocity microphone featuring a thin long corrugated ribbon tensioned between two rare earth neodymium magnets. The ribbon is placed slightly forward, off the magnet centre to provide a slight low end roll-off on the backside of the microphone. It features a custom output transformer capable of driving long cables. The R-14 is ideal for recording vocals, guitar amplifiers, drum overheads, strings, stringed instruments, brass and vocals. Includes wooden box and shock-mount.
