The P-28 is a transformer coupled medium diaphragm cardioid vacuum tube and FET condenser microphone styled after the classic AKG C 28 and Neumann KM 54. The microphone uses an amplifier based on a FET stage and a EF732 sub-miniature capsule and a 18 mm edge-terminated capsule. It is ideal for acoustic instruments recording, including strings, percussion, orchestras and drum overheads. Includes wooden box, power supply, 8-pin microphone cable, shock mount and flight case. An omnidirectional capsule is available as a special order.
