The 22 47 SE (Standard Edition) is a large diaphragm vacuum tube multi pattern condenser microphone styled after the original U47. The capsule is a 34 mm single back-plate with dual 3 micron gold sputtered Mylar diaphragms. The SE version uses an American vintage 6SJ7 steel tube similar to the original Telefunken VF14. It is switchable between omnidirectional and figure of eight with nine intermediate patterns. The 22 47 SE is ideal for vocals and instrument recording including brass, drums and guitar amplifiers. Includes wooden box, MX-56 power supply, 8-pin microphone cable, shock-mount and flight case. Matched pairs are available on request.
