The 22 251 is a large diaphragm vacuum tube multi pattern condenser microphone styled after the ELA M 251. It features a dual diaphragm, dual back-plate edge-terminated gold-coated 34 mm Mylar capsule and a circuit based around a 6072A vacuum tube. It also features a custom transformer based on the original T/14. The 22 51 has 7 dB more gain than the P-12 and a larger head grille, resulting in a different frequency response. The dual sided capsule enables the power supply to feature nine polar patterns from omnidirectional to figure of eight. Includes wooden box, MX-56 power supply, 8-pin microphone cable, shock-mount and flight case. Matched pairs are available on request.
