ELM-C
Common name: Pearl ELM-C
Production Status: In production
The ELM-C is a large diaphragm capacitor microphone using an unusual linear rectangular capsule with a 7:1 length/width ratio. This technique reduces diaphragm resonances but also gives a large surface area and therefore a high intrinsic output level. The lateral HF response is excellent. The response is flat and gives a consistent cardioid pattern. In combination with the ELM-B it can be used for high-quality MS stereo.
