The DT 40 is a a variable pattern tube (valve) microphone with a classic Pearl 2800 rectangular capsule. The tube is a Nuvistor and the output uses an amorphous cored transformer for high output level and low distortion. The capsule is mounted in silicone and supported on cones to minimise stand-borne noise and acoustic reflections. Includes power supply, microphone cable, shock-mount and carrying case.
