Open Plan Recording O.P.R. The Grill The GrillThe Grill U-MOD is a bidirectional ribbon microphone based on the Bang and Olufsen BM5s. It features a medium ribbon length and long path design as well as a tubular slotted body. The U-MOD version adds a in-house custom made toroidal transformer and 1.8 micron 99.9% pure aluminum ribbon element. It is ideal for close miking, electric guitar cabinets, horns, strings, drums and vocals. Includes shock mount, pouch and aluminum flight case.
