The ML-52 is a dual element ribbon microphone that is a true cosine figure of eight of almost perfect uniformity throughout the full frequency spectrum. The response is extremely flat with a gentle presence rise between 2kHz and 10kHz to give warmth and clarity to its source. The way the microphone handles high SPLs is remarkable, showing no change in its characteristics or signs of distortion.
