The VR is a limited availability Ambisonic microphone designed for 360 degrees recordings. It delivers four channel Ambisonic A format that can be converted to Ambisonic B format via a DAW and use of plug-ins decoders. It is fully compatible with systems like VR Game Engines or 360 degrees social media platforms. The microphone features four cardioid capsules in a tetrahedral configuration. The capsules are heated to guarantee operation in extreme climate conditions. The microphone has very low self noise, can withstand high sound pressure levels and has a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad as well as a 70 Hz low-cut switch. The microphone comes with a 3 m 10-pin to four XLR 3 connectors cable (longer cables are available on request) and a wooden case.
