The MC51 is a dual diaphragm multi pattern condenser microphone equipped with a large 24 mm gold plated dual diaphragm capsule. Polar patterns are switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid, wide cardioid and figure of eight. It has low self noise, can withstand very high SPL and has a switchable 10 dB attenuation pad for very loud sources. The capsule is internally shock-mounted. The microphone body is made of brass with a non reflective dark grey finish on an epoxy base to guarantee durability and a 3 layer metallic grille protects the capsules from electrical and atmospheric interference and contamination from microscopic dust particles. It is available in stereo pairs. Includes wooden box.
