The MC416 is a large 33 mm ultra thin gold sputtered diaphragm multi pattern Class A transformer-less condenser microphone. The capsule is internally shock-mounted with a rubber support. It is switchable between omnidirectional, cardioid and figure of eight polar pattern. It features a low self noise and excellent transient response. It is ideal for vocals, speech, acoustic instruments, orchestra and stereo recordings. The microphone is made of brass with a non reflective dark grey finish on an epoxy base to guarantee durability. Includes wooden case. It is also available in stereo pairs.
