The TLM 102 is a compact side-address cardioid condenser microphone. The capsule is a 25mm single diaphragm edge-terminated type and the electronics are FET with a transformer-less output. The capsule is internally suspended to minimise shock noise, and the grille has an integrated pop-screen to allow close use for vocals and speech. The frequency response exhibits slight rise at 10 kHz to provide extra clarity. Proximity effect is very well controlled for close speech applications. Self noise is low and the microphone can withstand very high sound pressure levels. Includes SG2 stand mount. The “Studio Set” version includes the EA-4 shock-mount.
