The MCM KK 14 is a small diaphragm cardioid electret condenser capsule head for the Neumann Miniature Clip Microphone System (MCM). It is designed for instrument close miking applications. The MCM includes nine different mounting solutions for brass, string and stringed instruments, pianos, drums and percussion. The hand-assembled capsule has low self noise, can withstand high sound pressure levels up to 152 dB and is housed in a titanium shell for optimal durability. The capsule can be easily unscrewed from the gooseneck connector whenever necessary. All the other components are also easy to replace if needed. It is ideal for orchestras, theatres, musical productions, concert halls, big bands, brass sections and drummers. The KK 14 is available with 3.5 mm jack, Lemo, MicroDot or TA4F connectors providing compatibility for all standard body-packs and wireless setups.
