The M1 is a condenser valve microphone created by audio designers Andreas Grosser and Eckehard Dux and Andrew Myburgh. The M1 features a Mylar M7 capsule made by Siegfried Thiersch and a Russian military grade long life tube. The M1 has two custom built Pikatron transformers, one in the microphone and one in the power supply. The microphone has a very low noise floor, and handles high SPL comfortably. The M1 has four selectable polar patterns: omnidirectional, cardioid, fugue of eight and 100% cardioid. The microphone includes power supply, 7 m (23ft) Mogami Neglex 3172 cable, Custom box, waterproof case and a swivel pouch.
