The P-14 is a dynamic supercardioid microphone specifically designed for hand-held vocals and public address applications. It is ideal for close to medium distance pickup and can also be used for broadcast and studio applications. The capsule element and the steel-mesh protective grill are rubber insulated to reduce handling noise. It also features a built-in foam windscreen to reduce plosive sounds and wind noise. The microphone is available in two standard models, the P-14 with on/off switch and 5 metre fixed cable terminating with a 6.3 mm TR jack or the P-14 C with a standard male XLR-3 connector and no switch. Optionally available the P-14 5/4 featuring an on/off push switch with automatic return and remote control wire. This has a 4 metre, five-conductor fixed cable terminating in a 5-pin DIN 180º stereo male connector. The P-14 4/10 has an on/off slide switch with remote control wire and a 10 metre 3-conductor fixed cable terminating in a 5-pin DIN 180º stereo male connector. The P-14 Special is custom manufactured as per customer requirements.
