The MK 222 is a 1/2” microphone capsule with an extended low-frequency range and is therefore optimised for correct acoustic measurements of signals with very low frequencies. The equalisation of the static air pressure is achieved via a tube between the inside and outside of the capsule connected to the preamplifier (rear-vented). The microphone capsule is suitable for sound level meters of Type 1 acc. IEC 61672. Includes wooden box.
