The Melodium 42BN is a bidirectional large ribbon microphone hand-built in France by Kerwax Studios. It is a new improved build of the classic Melodium microphone built by Charles Bouteleau and Émile Furn in Paris in the nineteen-forties. It features four AlNiCo 600 magnets in a closed magnetic loop for a smooth sound. Includes beech wooden microphone box, stand adapter, brass microphone mount and galvanised M8 steel screw.
