The C610 is a vacuum tube Series Six preamplifier body with a 5 Hz to 50 kHz ±1% inherent capability that can be coupled to any of the KA range of capsules (see C606A). This valve version never reached production due to the lack of reliable quiet tubes.
The 610A version uses a classic plate coupled circuit.
The C610K uses a capacitor-less space-charge design with a transformer output. Both designs can deliver 150dB max SPL without attenuation.
