The Groove Tubes GT67 is a no-compromise tube mic. It is a side-address true condenser with a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule machined from brass. The ultra-thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm uses Disk Resonator technology to expand the typical large diaphragm response beyond 20 kHz. The electronics are Class A and the tube is a triode-wired miniature pentode. Groove Tubes’ rigorous quality control insures that all microphones are within +/-1 dB of their golden”microphone spec to permit unrestricted use as matched pairs.
