The Groove Tubes GT55 incorporates all of the features of the high-end GT66 cardioid, with FET circuitry replacing the tube. This enhanced reissue of the side-address true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule. The ultra-thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm fitted into an all-brass machined housing has Disk Resonator technology to extend the frequency response beyond 20 kHz. Groove Tubes rigorous quality control also insures that this mic is within +/-1dB of the golden microphone spec.
