The Groove Tubes GT44 is a mid-sized diaphragm end-fire tube microphone . It features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 0.75-inch diameter machined brass capsule with a thin 6-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm. This provides high sensitivity and transparent sound across the full frequency spectrum. Groove Tubes rigorous quality control also insures that each mic is within +/-1 dB of a golden bmicrophone spec. The capsules are interchangeable and supercardioid and omni versions are offered.
