The Groove Tubes GT66 is a no-compromise tube microphone delivering superb performance and sound. This enhanced reissue of the side-address true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested 1.10-inch diameter capsule machined from brass. The amazingly thin 3-micron evaporated-gold diaphragm has Disk Resonator technology to extend the frequency response beyond 20 kHz. The electronics are Class A and the tube is a triode-wired miniature pentode. Groove Tubes rigorous quality control also insures that each microphone is within +/-1 dB of the golden”microphone spec.
