The RE200 is a small and unobtrusive transformer-less cardioid condenser instrument microphone. It is ideal for pickup of choirs, strings, percussion, brass and acoustic instruments in live sound reinforcement, scoring stages, TV and studio recordings. The RE200 exhibits a gentle presence rise above 1000 Hz for an open sound and transparent detail. The microphone is equipped with an ultra thin gold laminated diaphragm and a single ceramic back-plate. The transducer is biased by an internal DC to DC converter for optimal sensitivity and is cradled in an AcoustiDYN shock-mount system providing excellent isolation from mechanical vibration. Includes 311 model stand clamp, Wind Tech 5700-12 black external foam windscreen and zippered vinyl carrying pouch. It is finished in semigloss black.
