The Electrovoice ND44 is a large diaphragm dynamic tight cardioid microphone for instruments recording, especially drums and other rhythm section instruments and guitar cabinets. The ND44 features a locking pivoting head for easy microphone placement and together with the DRC-2 drum rim clamp allows for easy placement on a drum set. The mylar capsule is shock mounted and the hum-bucking coil protects against EMF. The ND44 capsule uses a hum-bucking coil that attenuates AC hum and electromagnetic interference. For additional protection, the ND44 capsule contains a hydrophobic cloth membrane which prevents moisture and debris from reaching the diaphragm.The ND46 comes with a stand clip, gig bag and Euro thread adapter.
