The 665 is an all purpose cardioid dynamic microphone ideal for TV announce booths and newscast. It uses the Variable-D system with three sound entrances located at three different distances from the back of the diaphragm to achieve its uniform polar response. The capsule diaphragm employs an exclusive ElectroVoice non metallic Acoustalloy providing a smooth response over a wide frequency range while being immune to high humidity, corrosion and mechanical shocks. It features an integrated swivelling stand mount adapter. It has an Acoustifoam pop filter to minimise wind and breath noise. The microphone can be used on a floor, desk stand or handheld. The case is made of pressure cast zinc and the stud houses both an on/off switch and a lockable impedance selector. Includes an 18-foot three conductor shielded black neoprene jacketed cable. The 665 is finished in non-reflecting grey.
