The 655-C Slim-Trim is an omnidirectional dynamic microphone designed for highest quality TV and radio broadcasting applications. It has a slim design, is lightweight and provides a wide frequency response and pickup range. It has a pop-proof wire mesh grille to minimise plosive, wind and breath noise. The microphone capsule is equipped with the exclusive ElectroVoice non metallic Acoustalloy diaphragm providing a smooth response over a wide frequency range while being immune to high humidity, corrosion and mechanical shocks. The magnetic circuit uses Alnico V and Armco magnetic iron in a non-welded circuit. The EV655C has a 50 ohm set impedance but this can be changed to 150 or 250 ohms by the user. The microphone is made of lathe-turned aluminium. Includes 20-foot, three-conductor, shielded neoprene-jacketed cable, swivelling microphone holder and storage bag.
