The ElectroVoice 638 is a general purpose omnidirectional dynamic microphone with an integrated fixed-tilt design stand mount. It features a wide uniform response, high output level and rugged die-cast construction. The dynamic element is equipped with the exclusive Acoustalloy diaphragm that is virtually immune to corrosion and temperature swings. The EV638 is ideal for public address, commercial communications, paging and home recording. It was available in low or high impedance versions. Includes 6′ two- conductor shielded rubber-jacketed cable (Low-Z model).
