The QTC30 is a measurement-style omni with an exceptionally flat response for 6 Hz to 30 kHz (20-20 kHz +/-0.5 dB). Its impulse response is also particularly fast and accurate compared to other recording microphones. The microphone is suitable for close-miking and also ambient room miking – in both cases producing transparent, uncoloured sound. QTC30s can be bought as matched pairs for spaced omni stereo recording.
