A faithful sonic reproduction of the vintage M49B, our latest UM-Series microphone has the same signature smooth highs, exceptional midrange clarity, and rounded deep low-end as the original. Whilst its large, rich and dark tone is ideally suited for vocals, the continuously adjustable pattern control ensures the UM49B can also perform as a truly versatile studio all-rounder. Hand-built to order in Switzerland, the UM49B is designed to be one of the highest quality microphones available today. The components used are identical to our RS Series, and the UM49B can at any time be traded in towards the RS4 (M49B version). Comes with Thiersch M7 Blueline capsule, Haufe BV11 transformer, NOS 5703 vacuum tube and 10 year warranty.
