The Ferro is a large diaphragm dual-pattern FET condenser microphone with a 10 and 20 dB attenuation pad suitable for high sound pressure level applications such as drums, bass, electric guitars and loud vocals. It features a centre-terminated capsule and a custom-made output transformer. The hexagonal mesh grill design provides maximum transparency and avoid phase cancellations caused by standing waves. The microphone is switchable between omnidirectional and cardioid polar patterns. The omni pickup response is achieved mechanically.
