The Bluebird is a collabration between Blue and Digidesign. The microphone is a large diaphragm condenser microphone. The capsule is edge-terminated and has a 6 micron gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm. The powering tolerance allows supplies as low as 35 V to be used. (Specifications are with a 2.5 kohm load).
