The SHM 803 is a gooseneck-mounted pencil microphone. The pattern is hypercardioid/lobar with a +/-40° acceptance angle which is almost constant across the frequency spectrum. The output is transformer balanced. Alternative connectors (XLR3-F and Nexus Y). The SHM 805 version has a longer gooseneck. Suffix S versions have a switch fitted. 814 and 815 versions have an illumination ring.
