The slim size of the MCE 84 makes it ideal for difficult miking situations (ie when miking drum kits). The frequency response is equalised to ensure optimum results with a wide range of instruments. Due to its high SPL capability (max. 138 dB) it can be used on loud sound sources such as brass instruments. The solid construction of this microphone gives protection when used in a live environment.
