The Tribute 4 is designed as a tribute to the M49. The transformer is the BeesNeez BV-11 Transformer. The BV-11 audio transformer is handmade by BeesNeez to the original specifications, in Australia. The BV11 was made famous by its use in the M49/M50 Microphone. The capsule in the Tribute 4 is the BeesNeez M7 microphone capsule which is handmade in BeesNeez Australian factory from the original gun barrel material that Neumann used more than 65 years ago. The tube in the Tribute 4 condenser microphone is a 6S6B-V Russian Military tube. The body tube is turned and machined down from bronze cast and the grilles are hand pressed and cut. The microphone includes a swivel mount connector and lead, Tribute series power supply and wooden box.
