The SGM-3500 is a 7” long shotgun condenser microphone with a super cardioid polar pattern. The SGM-3500 is ideal for on-camera mounting with cinema and broadcast cameras, and also suited for boom-pole work thanks to its length. The microphone features Azden’s newly developed high-sensitivity microphone element, capable of capturing detail, with ultra-low self noise and a wide frequency response tuned especially for speech. The SGM-3500 has an all metal brass body ensuring durability while providing excellent rejection of external RF sources. A gold-plated XLR connector prevents corrosion and ensures good connectivity. The microphone includes an articulating mic clip with 5/8″ and 3/8″ thread adapters, a high density foam windscreen and deluxe hardshell case. Also included is an individual frequency response chart. The SGM-3500 is compatible with the optional SWS-100 and SWS-250 windshields.
