The SGM-250 is a 250 mm long shotgun condenser microphone with a super cardioid polar pattern. It is suitable for almost any filming situation as it can be mounted on a compact DSLR camera as well as on a boom pole. The SGM-250 features Azden’s newly developed high-sensitivity microphone element, capable of capturing wide frequency response and dynamic range and a low cut filter. The SGM-250 can be powered by battery or phantom power with no perceivable loss in performance between the two, providing the user with maximum flexibility without compromise. The SGM-250 has an all metal brass body ensuring durability while providing excellent rejection of external RF sources. A gold-plated XLR connector prevents corrosion and ensures good connectivity. The microphone includes a leatherette zippered carrying pouch, foam windscreen and shock mount holder.
